Gobbo
Goblin surgeon. Threw Haldak's severed arm into an oven and ate it. The arm grew back. He considers this a success.
Who He Is
Gobbo is the ship's surgeon aboard the Ice Serpent — Gum Gum's vessel and the ship that carried the party north from Neverwinter through Luskan to Revel's End. He is a goblin, like much of Gum Gum's crew. He is also, by his own reckoning, a medical professional.
His methods are unconventional. His results are difficult to argue with.
The Arm
Haldak lost his right arm below the elbow in combat before the voyage north. When Gobbo got involved, the procedure was as follows: he attempted to reattach the arm, determined this was not viable, threw the severed arm into an oven, and ate it.
Haldak's arm then regrew from the stump.
This cost 300 gold (paid to Gum Gum's crew collectively). Gobbo considers it a routine outcome.
Aboard the Ice Serpent
Gobbo's presence became apparent when Captain Gregorovich was revealed to be Gum Gum in disguise and the crew's goblin nature surfaced. He was noted specifically as a crew member — "another goblin" — functioning as the ship's medical officer for the duration of the voyage.
He departed with the ship after delivering the party to Revel's End.
