Summary

No transcript exists for this session. C06 was played on 2025-09-20 but was not recorded. The session's events are largely reconstructable from the DM's recap in C07 (2025-09-27). Based on continuity and C07's pre-session summary: the party traveled deeper into the Underdark heading west toward Gracklstugh (the Duergar settlement). A "demonpocalypse" event occurred at the Deep Lake — a demonic incursion that traumatized Roland severely. The party encountered a mushroom cavern with screaming mushroom creatures and, while camping there, Stool (a Myconid rescued from Velkynvelve) activated his telepathic spores, causing the party to broadcast their innermost thoughts and emotional states involuntarily. This session also contains the major revelation of Lireal's true identity. Roland's player (Harrison/Pyrus) was absent this session per the original placeholder title.

• Velkynvelve and Stool: The party passed through or around Velkynvelve. At some point they rescued Stool — a Myconid (mushroom creature) who had been imprisoned at Velkynvelve. Stool has the ability to project telepathic spore links, connecting the party's minds.
• The Demonpocalypse at the Deep Lake: A demonic incursion occurred at or near the Deep Lake. The DM's C07 recap described it as "worse than anything you could have ever imagined." Roland in particular experienced severe PTSD from this event. "Fish people" were also somehow involved.
• The Mushroom Cavern: The party found a mushroom cavern as a campsite. Screaming mushroom creatures (possibly Shriekers) inhabited it. • Stool's Telepathic Spores: During the long rest, Stool's spores activated involuntarily, projecting all party members' thoughts within 30 feet. Kefkas (Young) has a special ability to block his mind from the spore effect, so his thoughts remained private; the party speculated about his orientation based on his blocking. The party learned intimate details about each other.
• Lireal's True Identity Revealed: During the mushroom cavern rest, Lireal's true identity was revealed: she is the reincarnated Lireal Baenre — daughter of Gromph Baenre (Archmage of Menzoberranzan). She was killed in the explosion in Neverwinter and was reincarnated as a Chosen of Mystra. This is why she is an aquatic elf in her current form rather than a drow — Mystra's reincarnation gave her a new body.
• Drow Scout: At the end of this session or the start of C07, the party discovered they had been found by a drow scout — the forward scout of a drow party pursuing Othorion.
