Who She Is
Gum Gum is the Goblin Queen of the Moonshae Pirates — a title that sounds like a joke until you see how her people move. She carries herself like someone who has never once been underestimated twice.
She presents as a total, unambiguous threat — and operates like one. The performance is not entirely inaccurate. But behind the evil-badass exterior, Gum Gum does a remarkable amount of good in the world. She is not trying to hide that contradiction. She just doesn't explain herself.
The Saltmarsh Encounter — Session A15
The party's first encounter with Gum Gum was not planned.
Othorion walked onto her ship in Saltmarsh. This was an error. Gum Gum had him; she could have kept him. Instead, she made a deal.
The terms: Othorion went free in exchange for exclusive shipping rights to Luskan — signed over to Gum Gum's Pirates.
He signed. He used the name Othorion Baenre.
She let him go.
The Ice Serpent — Sessions B04–B13
When the party arrived in Neverwinter, a ship called the Ice Serpent was waiting for them — captained by a figure who called herself Captain Gregorovich.
Gregorovich was Gum Gum in disguise. Her crew were her own people, concealed.
The Private Meetings — Sessions B04–B05
Before departure, Gregorovich requested private meetings with Othorion aboard the Ice Serpent. What was discussed in those meetings is not fully documented.
The Voyage North — Session B11
The party departed Neverwinter aboard the Ice Serpent under Captain Gregorovich's command, sailing north along the Sword Coast — through Luskan and onward to Revel's End.
The Reveal — Session B12
During the voyage, the truth surfaced: Captain Gregorovich was Gum Gum. The crew's goblin nature became apparent; among them was Gobbo, a goblin surgeon travelling with the ship.
Confirmed — Session B13
Her identity as Gum Gum was confirmed in full.
The Karakathar Incident
At some point during the voyage, a bronze dragon — Karakathar, possessed and controlled by a golden tooth originating from Chult — landed on Gum Gum's ship.
The party dealt with the situation. The golden tooth was retrieved. Gum Gum made use of it.
The Revel's End Mission — Sessions B16–B18
Operating under the Gregorovich identity, Gum Gum directed the party to Revel's End with a specific objective: retrieve a key held by Prisoner 13, encoded in the dwarf woman's tattoos, this was Rolands secret mission for the party as given by Vajra Safahr.
The party completed the mission. What the tattoo key unlocked — and what Gum Gum needed it for — is not fully documented.
Departure
After delivering the party to Revel's End, Gum Gum departed. She has not been seen since.
She fulfilled her side of whatever arrangement was in place. She did not linger.
