Groznak

Groznak was a goblin raider captured by the party during an ambush on the Triboar Trail. He provided crucial intelligence about the goblin operation through interrogation.

The party was ambushed by goblins on the Triboar Trail as they traveled toward Phandalin. In the skirmish, the party captured Groznak and interrogated him for intelligence.

Intelligence Gathered: Through interrogation, Groznak revealed that goblins had been systematically attacking travelers on the trail. Their lair was located approximately five miles north of the road in a large cave. The trail to the lair was heavily trapped—Groznak mentioned 27 traps lining the approach. The goblins had also captured a girl from a wagon, later identified as Pip Stonehill, innkeeper's daughter.

Notable Finding: Groznak carried a ring bearing the symbol of the Lord's Alliance—an organization dedicated to order and commerce. This discovery was significant, as it suggested possible infiltration or corruption of the Alliance's agents, or potentially that the ring was stolen from an Alliance member.
