Departed A11 — Basilisk and the Feywild

An astral elf who traveled with the Forge Wardens from their earliest days. His wife is waiting for him in Luskan. He walked in the other direction and does not know it.

Background — The Xyraxian Exile

Jonah and Vera (Serenya Caelithar) were both members of the Xyraxian Empire — an astral elf civilisation operating from spelljammer vessels in the Astral Sea. The Empire issued an order: attack Toril. They refused. They were exiled to it.

Jonah arrived on Toril first. Vera came down after him, following his trail — surviving an encounter with the pirate Rognok Saltfang along the way, losing her arm, and eventually reaching Luskan, where she built a life and a shop and has been waiting for her husband ever since.

Jonah traveled south. He found the Forge Wardens, and for a time, he found something worth staying for.

Departure — The Blood Moon

On the night of Marpenoth 28, during the party's camp in the wilderness, Jonah woke and stood at the cave entrance in a trance-like state. The rest of the party woke to find him there. He told them that something was calling him — not a sound, but an irresistible pull connected to the moon. Outside, a crescent moon bled red light across the landscape.

He said he had to follow it. He asked them to tell Pip not to worry. He thanked them for not making a scene. He walked off into the dark.

He did not return.
