Nundro Rockseeker

One of the three Rockseeker brothers, a miner. He went missing alongside his brother Tharden before the party arrived in Phandalin. Unlike Gundren, he was held prisoner inside Wave Echo Cave by the Black Spider (Nezznar) rather than at Cragmaw Castle. The party rescued him from captivity during their assault on the cave.

History with the Party

Nundro was mentioned in Session A02 as having been camped outside Phandalin with Tharden before both brothers vanished. The party had no information about his whereabouts for most of Arc A, uncertain whether he was alive or dead.

The truth emerged only upon reaching Wave Echo Cave: Nezznar had captured Nundro and held him prisoner inside the cave, likely as additional leverage against Gundren and as a guard or resource within the cave itself. Unlike Gundren, who was held at Cragmaw Castle as a hostage for the map, Nundro's fate was bound directly to the mine.

Rescue at Wave Echo Cave — Session A21

The party found Nundro imprisoned within Wave Echo Cave and freed him during their final confrontation with Nezznar. He was rescued alongside the recovery of the mine itself, marking the successful conclusion of the Rockseeker quest line.

Current Status

Nundro remains active in Phandalin following the rescue. His involvement with the mine's operations and his relationship with his surviving brother Gundren remain active threads, though their current activities are not documented in detail.
